EBookME 2.5

Today was released a very new and a very hot version of EBookME. It fixes several problems from previous version and it includes new interesting features:

  • user defined bookmarks
  • saving and loading project in Packager GUI
  • better Windows integration (installer with JRE included, exe launchers)
  • experimental support of Tamil language
  • chapters in “Holy Bible” sample

New version includes several bug-fixes and completely new Chinese translation (thx to “killer”). You can try it right now on this page – try applet or Java Web Start in the menu on the right side.

New features in 2.1

Today was released version 2.1 of EBookME. It implements several feature-requests which were asked from you – the users. So, what can you find in the new version?

Reader:

  • new form for preferences
  • option for display rotation
  • status messages disabled by default
  • implemented shaping algorithm for arabic texts
  • setting of absolute position (count of characters) in book is now possible

Packager:

  • Drag&Drop files directly into book list
  • Button up/down for reordering books
