Help us to growth
EBookME as many other open source projects depends on 2 main headstones – on developers which can share their knowledge, but mainly on users which use project.
In projects which work, users should say:
- what they expect from the project;
- what should be improved from their point of view;
- where are soft spots in the project;
- what they like and what they unlike.
We would like to ask you to help us improve the EBookME project. The main parts for which we are searching help are:
- reporting bugs and change requests through Sourceforge.net Tracking Tool or simply through mail (josef@cacek.cz)
- project translations – it’s simple and it’s very important. Main point is to translate file messages.properties to new languages and fix existing translations. Currently supported translations are English, Czech, Spanish (from Daniel Escobar) German (from Andreas Schreiner) and French (from Pierre Henri KuatĂ©).
How to translate
Simply download any existing translation file and edit lines which contains translations.
E.g. following lines in EN
# This is comment line (always start with #)
# {0} means parameter for message – it has to stay in message
any.key=Some translation with param {0}
translated to Pikachu language can look like
# This is comment line (always start with #)
# {0} means parameter for message – it has to stay in message
any.key=Pika pi pika {0}
Translated file please send to my mailbox (josef.cacek@gmail.com).
