EBookME 1.1 preview

Tuesday, May 30th, 2006

After bigger changes in project, I’ve decided not to release final version 1.0 of EBookME. But the good thing is that you can try new features for version 1.1 right now. They are available in applet and EBookME Java Web Start (side menu).

Most important change planned for version 1.1 is support of different file types such as MS Word, PDF, OpenDocument and many others (for nearly complete list see About page). It’s also possible to create books by writing your own texts directly in application or use Copy/Paste from external application.

Version 1.0 RC1 released

Saturday, May 20th, 2006

New version of EBookME was released. There is a lot of changes and bug-fixes. The most important change is that GUI is enabled, so you don’t need to learn all parameters for command-line usage. EBookME 1.0RC1 can also be used on web sites as an applet or Java Web Start application. I hope, you will enjoy it.

Please download the new version from Sourceforge project page.

EBookME packager is available as an applet or as a Java Web Start (with Microemulator included) link from navigation menu. Version of EBookME used for demo is 1.0RC1 which will be released in a near future to sourceforge files.
